Operate, Maintain and Improve
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced quarry/mining fixed-plant Boilermaker / Welder to perform fixed-plant maintenance at our Nerang Quarry, on a permanent, full-time basis. We are looking for candidates who have either a trade qualification as a fitter / boilermaker, or ample relevant experience. This role will be an afternoon shift position with a 2pm start and a midnight-2am finish, Monday to Friday! Very Minimal Weekend Work (Depending on Breakdown/Production Requirements).
In your new role with us, you will:
Conducting general fixed-plant maintenance
Inspection and maintenance of crushers, conveyors, screens and chutes
Communicating and planning repairs according to requirements in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor/Leading Hand
Executing repairs as per scheduled timeline
Monitor improvements to maintenance tasks and processes or plant performance
