Your new role In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include:
Preparation of tax returns for ANZ including BAS, FBT, GST, PAYG and payroll tax
Complete tax and payroll related journals
Prepare board papers and statutory financial statements
Maintain strong internal and external relationships
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain internal controls
What you'll need to succeed You will be a CA/CPA qualified Accountant with experience in tax accounting and exposure to payroll accounting. You will work with a hard-working, dynamic and collaborative team led by a talented Financial Controller and CFO. Advanced Excel skills, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships are key skills to be successful in this role. What you'll get in return
