Project Description:
Luxoft has one of the world's leading Murex practices. We are a top-tier Murex Alliance Partner and a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration. We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.
This role is for one of the Australian client for Murex. The Murex SME role will be required to have front-to-back knowledge of Murex platform. The roles require Luxoft team anchoring & management of a team. Key responsibilities of the role include engaging with business, conducting analysis, developing requirements, reviewing technical and functional design, building, and testing solutions, and ensuring proper closure of the different initiatives by taking end-to-end ownership/accountability.
Responsibilities:
• Analysis & Documentation of user requirements and transpose into Functional Specifications
• Act as key liaison with Global Markets teams (business and their supporting functions), IT teams as well as with the vendors
• Act as SME across Murex modules (MxML, Datamart, FO, BO, ...)
• Participate actively in discussions with business, understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives
• Define the systems and data requirements and validate the systems design and processes from functional and technical aspects
• Develop and refine the various business/functional/testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved, working alongside the vendor if needed
• Configuration of the solution as per requirements
• Act as the subject matter expert for Murex suite of tools used within all modules and ensuring that all functionality of the product are installed and leveraged to its best capability within the group
• Be the first point of client contact for Luxoft deliverables
• Effective Client Issue & Escalation Management
• Anchor the Luxoft team and mentor them
• Managing the Luxoft Murex team and support their career growth aspirations
• Support hiring process for the account
Mandatory Skills Description:
• Minimum 10+ years of experience working in various modules of Murex 3.1 platform
• Expert Competency in at least 2-3 modules of Murex: MxML Integration (primary), Datamart Reporting (primary), Back Office (primary), Workflows (primary), MxTest (additionally), Front Office (additionally), etc...
• 5+ years of experience of managing medium-large Murex implementation, migration, or upgrade engagements
• Strong Murex solutioning skills
• Experience in leading and delivering projects
• Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes, front-to back
• Strong track record of stakeholder management, people management and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied with excellent verbal & written communication
• Strong proven track record of liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, testing processes, and other relevant information.
• Ability to deliver well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Post-graduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Engineering / Business Administration
