We work directly with private clientele, retailers, interior designers, architects and builders to craft custom-made furniture with a focus on quality, functionality, beauty and sustainability. With contemporary designs, and a forward-thinking approach, the company has won multiple awards for crafting elegant, lifelong furniture and cabinetry.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Sunrise Furniture Manufacturers is seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. As the Sales and Marketing Manager at Sunrise Furniture you will be responsible for developing and executing our advertising plans working closely with our Managing Director, the aim being to grow sales in key areas of our business — namely our retail and wholesale markets. You will oversee the promotion of our furniture brand and products, specifically through paid ad marketing campaigns and digitally through organic social channels. We also aim to launch a new retail space, which we will require you to plan and mobilize resources for.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and policies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Lead and coordinate advertising campaigns across various media, including digital, print, and social media.
Collaborate with the design and product development teams to ensure that advertising strategies align with new product launches and brand vision.
Manage the sales team, setting sales targets, and providing support and training to ensure they are met.
Monitor and analyse market trends, marketing campaign data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing products.
Coordinate the production of marketing materials, ensuring they are in line with brand identity.
Manage the advertising budget and ensure all marketing activities are cost-effective and deliver a return on investment.
Assist in the launch of a new physical retail space.
Report on sales performance and marketing campaign results to the Managing Director.

Candidates must be able to travel as required and have the ability to attend and conduct presentations.

The work environment is office-based at our headquarters located with our manufacturing facility. We are a team focused company with frequent interactions with the design, production, and sales teams. Travel to industry events, client meetings, and showrooms may be required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Relevant Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3-years work experience in advertising
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in digital advertising strategies and platforms
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
