The JBS Dinmore Processing Plant is the largest beef facility in the southern hemisphere. About the Role
JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join the team in a full-time role. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the availability, reliability and capability of the plant assets
• Monitoring, following-up and addressing issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
• Ensuring the continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
• Communicating all equipment and maintenance issues with the Supervisor
• Understanding and implementing quality control techniques
• Being actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair
The annual salary for this position is above $70,000 plus superannuation.
About You
• Mechanical trade qualifications and post-trade experience
• Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
• Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
• Experience gained from a large heavy industry organization
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Effective and efficient problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts
