About this Role:
To oversee the day to day running of the ELGAS Blenheim Yard, including staff, production, stock, security, and H&S adherence
Driver Management: Training of new drivers / Tracking driver performance and timely completion of coaching
Stand-in Driver: To act as the stand-in driver, providing cover when required due to driver absenteeism
Cylinder Filing: Filling gas cylinders as needed
Scheduling: To remain abreast of current delivery trends and vehicle
Health & Safety: To be the conduit for H&S issues for all yard staff. Conduct toolbox meetings, be the Go to Person for the H & S of the yard
Maintaining a leave calendar for yard staff and the approval (or rejection) of leave requests.
