Your new role The Senior Risk Manager has a focus on identifying risks to ensure minimal impact on the project. This role requires the Risk manager to ensure risk is mitigated and potential opportunities are identified and pursued to maximise the chance of them having a positive impact. This position requires the individual to have a full understanding of the project and the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities;
Implement a robust Risk Management Process which complies with the ISO:31000:2018 and the Defence Risk Management Framework (DRMF)
Manage and provide the focus for all risk management activities
Lead the implementation of Quantitative risk analysis
Manage the Program Risk and Opportunities process through ensuring that risks and opportunities are properly captured
Coordination and oversight of Risk Mitigation projects and risk mitigation actions
Ensuring that the all risk management elements of the project are compliant with contractual requirements for the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) with the Customer as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary or Qualification in Business or Engineering, or equivalent.
Proven demonstrated ability to manage risk on large/complex projects including stakeholder management and reporting skills.
Good working knowledge of AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 - Risk Management Principles and guidelines.
Familiarity with the Australian Defence Forces Risk Management Framework (DRMF)
Demonstrated knowledge of the project management lifecycle
Experienced in Primavera and Scheduling Tools
Scheduling - Program Evaluation & Review Technique (PERT) and Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis
