About the role
McConnell Dowell is seeking a Design Engineer in Singapore to support civil structural work for marine works projects.
Key responsibilities of the role include;
Coordinate with external engineering consultants for projects in accordance with Design Management Procedures to solve various design/construction issues.
Develop shop drawings for permanent works based on consultants' designs and drawings. Experience in coordination with construction teams to prepare concrete body plans.
Carry out design checks in accordance with the project's appropriate requirements when needed.
Ensure the use of the latest documents/drawings. Track submission drawings, DAR submissions, and design changes.
Identify safety and environmental hazards that may arise during the fabrication, installation, and use of temporary works.
Provide feedback to the project personnel on construction
