About Your New Role:
- Full Time role Managing the day-to-day operations of the department
- Nurse training and development
- Overseeing nursing care and client services
- Leading and developing the nursing team and building a positive team culture
- Working closely with the AEC department leaders and the Business Manager
- Workforce planning including rosters and recruitment
- Clinical shifts as part of the nursing roster
- Inventory management
- Administrative tasks including Kronos – wage management
About Your Skills & Experience:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nuse or Bachelor of Veterinary Technician
- 3 + years experience in a FT role
- Team building skills with previous experience leading and motivating a high functioning nursing team
- Exceptional organizational skills
- A keen eye for rostering
- Ability to work autonomously
- Keen sense of your professional identity and the importance of vet nursing, reception and animal attendants in a successful workplace
