CNC Machinist – Day and afternoon shifts available
Naeco is a high-tech manufacturer based in Brisbane’s Bay side suburb of Capalaba.
Naeco specialises in the design and manufacture of cold plates, cooling systems and heat exchangers for some of the most demanding thermal management applications. Naeco is also a world class supplier of turbo machinery and large cold plates for radar.
Due to further company growth, we are seeking a highly skilled CNC machinists for our milling cells. Your duties will be to setup, prove and run a variety of CNC machines, supervise TA’s, produce and follow workshop documentation, help research and prove new tooling, fixturing and machining techniques.
You be must motivated with a positive attitude, be able to problem solve, take ownership and make decisions. Career advancement and training will be available for the right candidates.
Applicants will have to be:
Fully trade qualified.
Experience in a similar role.
Able to program at the machine.
Inspect parts to a high standard against 3d models and 2d drawings.
Experience on 4 axis horizontal machining centres an advantage.
Experience on 5 axis machining centres an advantage.
Knowledge of Mastercam an advantage.
Experience with "one off" parts to high tolerances.
Proof of rights to work in Australia. (Birth Cert, Visa, Citizenship or Passport - Essential)
Salary will be based on experience, with super and overtime.
