Looking for a Mechanical Fitter to begin a full-time position ASAP in the Mackay region. Your new company
Our client specialises in industrial pumps and pump packages for various sectors, including mining, mineral extraction, oil and gas, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage production, paints, inks, adhesives, power generation, water treatment, wastewater management, and general industry. Their mission is to deliver a range of top-quality products backed by knowledgeable staff.
Your new role
Duties & Responsibilities:
Working in the workshop and in field service on various pumps and equipment
Strip, assess and repair a variety of single and multi-stage pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment
Inspect and measure components to close tolerances
Working in the workshop and travelling to the Bowen Basin for 3 - 4 days every 2nd or 3rd week (meals, accommodation, and travel provided)
What you'll need to succeed
Mechanical Trade Cert
Current Driver's Licence
Pump knowledge - ideal
Living locally in the Mackay region
Ability to pass medical and D&A screen
