My client is a leading Power Engineering company, looking to grow their Electrical Engineering team due to a strong pipeline of projects. Dedicated to shaping the future of energy through cutting-edge power generation solutions. They have an experienced team of experts thriving on engineering excellence, sustainability, and delivering projects that make a real impact. The role is responsible for execution of Projects within the EPC business unit and providing technical advice relating to electrical design through to project completion. Demonstrate significant electrical engineering and design experience in heavy industry or power generation sector. Be part of complete turn-key projects and asset lifecycle services whilst mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities:
Detailed design of electrical systems and subsystems.
Assist and communicate with electrical project design team to carry out design and project works.
Engineer projects from concept, design, construction, commissioning and final handover.
Prepare design work to meet engineering specifications and comply with relevant standards.
Carry out basic estimates for engineering work.
Customer, contractor, and supplier liaison.
Perform factory testing and site commissioning and testing of installed equipment.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with a broad range of electrical design, project engineering and project support
Mid to Senior level of Electrical Engineering
Similar related heavy industry experience
Ideally full project lifecycle experience
LV to HV (primary and secondary systems)
Protection, earthing, lighting
Hazardous area competency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Initiative and problem solving ability
MS Suite, MS Project and AutoCad desirable
Drivers License
