ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Adelaide engineering team is looking for experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join on a full-time basis, maintaining our fleet of BAE146, Q400, and E190 aircraft. Working alongside the Supervising LAME, the AME will be responsible for the performance of aircraft maintenance and for the completion of assigned maintenance tasks.
YOUR DUTIES
- Record and report any defect found during the performance of maintenance to the Certifying Employee and on the applicable Maintenance Record
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance and maintenance documentation is carried out and completed in accordance with the MOE, Procedures Manuals and responsible CAMO requirements
- Be responsible for personal tool control and accountability of all tools and equipment used in maintenance
- Be responsible for the general condition, upkeep, and housekeeping of any hangar, workshop, or related work areas and vehicles ensuring all issued AP, Standard Parts, or Materials are stored compliantly in accordance with the MOE
- Assist and support Apprentices when required
- Ensure strict compliance with Engineering WHSMS policy and procedures
- Support and promote the SMS, QMS, and a Just Culture
- Perform any other duties as directed by the LAME, Leading Hand, SBE, or BMPS.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to obtain ASIC
- Ability to obtain an Airside Driving Licence
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent
- Ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Base or Line Maintenance experience.
