The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and flexible Transport Coordinator to join our team in Girraween on a full-time permanent basis.
To excel in this role, you will need to have good knowledge of the road freight industry and a strong customer service focus.
The Position
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday 8AM – 4PM
- Organising & writing consignment notes
- Arranging local, regional and interstate deliveries and run sheets
- Tracking and uploading proof of deliveries
- Customer service and data entry
- Releasing forward orders
- Assisting Sales representatives and other staff with queries
- Relief in nominating shipments.
- Answering sales/marketing queries and requests
- General administrative and filing duties for the Logistics department
About you
- Australian/NZ Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
- Exceptional time management and communication skills; verbal and written.
- You will have previously worked in Logistics administration, Customer Service, or an office support role. There you have experienced liaising with a variety of people including customers, transport/shipping companies and across teams/functions.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
- Flexibility and the ability to think on your feet.
