What You?ll Do:
We are currently looking for an experienced Drill & Blast Engineer with experience in optimising all aspects of operational drill and blast to join our Technical Services team. You will be responsible for effective planning and continuous improvement of the Drill and Blast function, in order to maximise utilisation and Mine productivity.
You will ensure all tasks are conducted according to Curragh?s policies and procedures as well as complying with the standards and obligations required under the relevant Statutory Acts and Regulations to enable the achievement of the organisational goals. Reporting to the Senior Drill & Blast Engineer , the keys to success in this role include:
Lead the planning and execution of drill and blast operations, focusing on efficiency and safety.
Analyse data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimisation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate drill and blast
