The purpose of this role is to deliver safe, efficient and effective tank maintenance execution across all areas of the refinery.
- Develop tank maintenance execution scopes for isolation, cleaning and return to service activities.
- Drive increased maintenance execution efficiency by collaborating with refinery operations, asset and contractor work groups and ensuring that tank maintenance activities are appropriately planned, prepared and resourced.
- Oversee front line tank maintenance execution to ensure that works are progressed in accordance with planned milestones.
- Actively contribute to the development of the annual Tank Maintenance plan, tank schedules and resource and cost estimates.
- Maintain relevant tank repair records and history.
- Able to work within a team as well as self-motivated to achieve asset integrity and business goals.
- Be able to collaborate with a wide range of teams to ensure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of tank maintenance scopes.
- Actively participate in the Asset Integrity Continuous Improvement program.

- Ensure all activities are conducted and managed in accordance with AERO principles and agreed HSSE practices and procedure as outlined in the Geelong Refinery Management System.
- Drive site safety performance through front line supervision of tank maintenance contractor work groups and ensuring safe work practices are adopted and maintained.
- Shared responsibility for incident investigation following an incident.
