Fitter
IPA are looking for Fitters for our clients workshop based in Rockhampton.
Our client is a large civil business with a busy workshop servicing a variety of equipment from light vehicles to trucks and plan.
Immediate starts are available and the position will be full time hours, Monday to Friday.
We have a variety of lengths available from short term from 2-5 weeks, to longer term roles as well.
Key Daily Duties:
Mechanical Repairs: Conducting repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment, including diagnosing faults, replacing worn or damaged parts, and testing equipment functionality.
Preventive Maintenance: Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity, including lubrication, inspections, and adjustments.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint problems
