Our client, founded in 1930 has been a major designer and manufacturer of quality switchgear for the electricity distribution and transmission industry. Due to growth, they have a newly created position for a CP Eng Senior Engineer to take responsibility for designing & improving company products on quality to minimise cost and to meet customer specifications and requirements. In conjunction with the Engineering Manager the role is also responsible for mentoring, advising and overseeing the Engineering Practices of non-Certified Practicing Engineers. Responsibilities include:
Develop & Design products that meet the customer's specifications, engineering standards, internal controls and quality requirements at the minimum cost.
Review all design information provided by the customer, resolving any incomplete, ambiguous
