City of Newcastle (CN) is looking for an experienced Senior Strategic Planner to join the Planning, Transport & Regulation (PTR) team.
As the Senior Strategic Planner, you will manage the development and currency of strategic urban planning strategies, instruments, policies, plans and reports from inception to adoption by CN and implementation. This includes managing large complex visionary projects, developing project plans, identifying resource needs and engaging and managing consultants and the community.
With this role being a senior role you will be able to apply your experience and expertise in mentoring and providing a positive role model in line with CNs CREW values for the ongoing professional development of the team.
