We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Novotel Surfers Paradise. This is a Monday – Friday, Full Time position role, based at the property.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, and supported by our Sales Administrator, the role will be responsible for converting incoming leads and generating new business.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure that all proposals, negotiation and contracts are issued in an efficient and professional manner, ensuring banquet profitability guidelines are adhered to.
- Represent the property at conferences, tradeshows, networking events, familiarisations, sales missions and on-site inspections
- Implement a sales plan that includes both proactive and reactive initiatives to achieve business objectives and budgeted profits for the hotel
- Maintain and manage a client database
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities and results to Director of Sales and Marketing
