Running for Premature Babies is a charity that gives sick and premature babies a better chance of survival. Established in 2007 by Sophie Smith OAM , Running for Premature Babies emerged from a deeply personal journey. Sophie and her late husband Ash experienced the devastating loss of their first-born triplet sons. From this tragedy, they forged a movement that has touched the lives of thousands. Through the collective efforts of passionate individuals, over $6 million has been raised to date. These funds have been instrumental in providing vital neonatal equipment, supporting groundbreaking research, and offering premature babies a fighting chance at life.
