In this role you will:
Under the supervision of the Executive Chef and senior chefs:
- To assist in the preparation of mis en place
- Cleaning and sanitation of kitchen including food preparation areas and scullery
- Operating a dishwashing machine
- General pantry duties and maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers
- Assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking
- Maintain cleanliness and rotation of stock in pantry, fridge and freezers
- Assist with the receiving and storing of stock
- Utilise safe and hygienic methods for the removal of dry and wet waste.
- To keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Executive Chef.
