We pride ourselves on ensuring we provide the utmost of quality training and assessment. DTC operates with a commitment to excellence and compliance with industrial standards and regulations.
We currently have a position available for a Workplace Relations Advisor.

Job Summary: The Workplace Relations Advisor at DTC plays a pivotal role in supporting and optimizing the performance of our personnel. The primary responsibility involves fostering a positive work environment, managing key HR functions, and ensuring adherence to legal and industrial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment processes for top talent acquisition.
• Develop and enhance onboarding processes for new hires and conduct insightful exit interviews.
• Coach staff and manage grievance procedures, including investigations and mediations.
• Support team development through training, workshops, and performance improvement strategies.
• Collaborate on employee wellbeing initiatives and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

Key Duties:
• Provide timely advice and coaching on workplace relations matters.
• Conduct thorough internal investigations and mediations when necessary.
• Review and update policies to align with best practices and legal standards.
• Facilitate training sessions for leaders and staff.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote a positive work culture.
• Manage employee disputes effectively and confidentially.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Suitable certification and relevant experience.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Proven experience in HR, particularly in workplace relations and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in documentation and reporting.
$70k - $90k pa
