Full Job Description
Building Engineering is a long-standing principal contractor delivering projects to $70M across the Victorian commercial landscape. The business has had outstanding controlled growth over the last 10 years culminating in an excellent presence across federal, local government, educational and health sectors. A Contract Administrator is currently sought by the business to assist a newly created project management team to deal with recent success at tender. Combined with a broad range of projects coming out of the ground and a strong pipeline of work at tender the business now has a significant amount of forward work secured for the business well into 2025. Candidates are sought who have a good 2-5 years’ experience working in a Contract Administration role within a commercial builder, ideally across projects ranging from $5 -$25M.
You will have excellent communication skills, developed financial reporting skills and a keen ability to find opportunity and risk across your projects in order to maximise positive returns for the company.
A relevant tertiary background is sought from this individual in Building, Construction Management, Building Engineering or similar. Your role will report to the Project Manager and assist in the management of progress payments, variations, RFI’s, major and minor contract letting, monthly cost reporting supported by a junior.
