Toolmaker

Mon- Friday, 6AM- 2PM, some flexibility
Hourly rate - $46-$49 p/h
Must be PR or Citizen
The role Our client, a well-known packaging manufacturing, is looking for a Toolmaker to join their team. Reporting to the Tooling Manager, you will be responsible in assisting with maintaining the plant's tooling requirements, evaluating tooling improvements, assisting in implementation methods and implementation processes. You will be working on various tooling projects ad working closely with the production team. Responsibilities:
Breakdown repairs of tooling
Preventative maintenance of tooling
Ensure that tooling is properly maintained within manufacturing and engineering standards.
Operate conventional machines: lathes, milling, drilling, grinding and other machines as used in the process of manufacturing tooling
Provide suggestions for tooling improvements
Investigate product, equipment, and process failure
