DVA has an arrangement with Services Australia for the provision of healthcare provider claiming, data and payments through Medicare on DVAs behalf. The Provider Support team, in the Program Delivery Division, undertake a range of task to manage and supports this arrangement, including:
Management of the operational relationship with Services Australia.
Monitoring the performance under the arrangement.
Liaising with and advocating for stakeholders to revolve issues or amend claiming arrangements.
Updating, validating and publishing DVA healthcare provider fee schedules.
Management of the production arrangements for Veteran Cards
Coordinating the resolution of ICT issues in relation to healthcare provider claiming.
