Position Description
Childrens Cancer Institute is looking for a Technical Specialist: Spatial and Single-cell. To develop and implement innovative technical solutions within the ACRF Spatial Immune-oncology Research (ASpIRe) program for Childhood Cancer. This is a long term opportunity for the right person.
In this role you will be responsible for independently implementing and performing the experimental procedures that will support the vision of the program. This will involve but not be limited to:
Sample processing (FFPE sample blocks and bloods)
Tissue Micro Array generation from FFPE blocks
Preparing samples for plasma proteomics
Running spatial multiomics workflows (primarily via the xenium and MACsima)
Designing an implemented high dimensional cytometry analysis of peripheral blood
Performing the wetlab components of multiomic single cell analysis including BD rhapsody and 10x chromium applications
