Position Summary:
Upon a successful application, you will play a vital role in our company operations. Your primary responsibility will be to apply durable, accurate & compliant work according to project specifications & industry standards. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals who share your commitment to excellence with huge opportunity for interstate work (2-3 weeks per month).
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute precise work on all projects.
* Operate & maintain all equipment & tools to ensure optimal performance.
* Adhere to safety guidelines & best practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself & team members.
* Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors & project managers to achieve project goals within designate timelines.
* Erecting scaffolding & ladders, drop sheet placement.
* Preparing surfaces for painting (removal of old paint, fixing woodwork, filling holes & cracks, smoothing & sealing surfaces)
* Selecting & preparing paints (colour mixing etc.)
* Applying paints, varnishes & stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers &/or sprays.
* Cleaning all equipment.
* Be flexible to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, public holiday & nights when required.
* Be prepared for a lot of interstate travel (projects may be lengthy occasionally).
The following are not vital but would be highly advantageous to your application:
* Medium/Heavy Vehicle (Truck License)
* Manual Car License
* Forklift License
