Working with a team of 15-20 coworkers, as an electrician you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within the sugar mills:
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist with electrical projects and upgrades.
The types of equipment you will be working on include:
HV/LV distribution systems, switch gear, transformers, cabling systems,
air conditioning, PLC, VF drives, pneumatic and electronic control,
instrumentation, lighting, power tools and equipment, electronics,
protection systems, generators including motors, control panels, instrumentation.
Skills and Qualifications
Trade qualification as an electrician with relevant electrical licenses and certifications
experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with systems used in the sugar industry is desired, but not essential.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
