Position Overview: As a Plant Operator, you'll play a vital role in our essential service, focusing on water waste treatment and management. Your responsibilities will include liaising with team leaders, ensuring efficient processing of liquid wastes, performing basic maintenance on equipment, and maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Efficient processing of liquid wastes
Loading and unloading of materials
Basic maintenance of equipment
Operating material handling equipment
Completing daily paperwork and safety documentation
What We're Looking For:
Leaving school certificate or equivalent
Forklift, excavator, and skid steer licenses (desirable)
Experience in the waste water treatment plant industry
Strong understanding of safety and compliance in a waste water environment
Customer-oriented with a positive attitude
Team player with a willingness to support and help when required
IT literacy
