Ruah Community Services is piloting an Enhanced Services Team working across all Ruah services (Housing and Homelessness, Family Service, Mental Health and Wellness and Ruah Legal) to respond to Ruahs clients co-occurring need. The team is composed of several specialised member including two counsellors, a Financial Counsellor, a Disability Navigator and Vocational Specialists.
The Counselling service is provided to Ruah clients (adult, children and young people) who are seeking support and advice in relation to a personal challenge. In this process, the counsellor supports people in processing issues that are currently impacting them and working to determine strategies to manage and move through the concerns as well as to identify coping strategies.
