Join a Hydraulics store in Fyshwick ACT as a Storeperson!
Are you a meticulous organiser with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? We're seeking a dedicated Storeperson to join our dynamic Client at their store in Fyshwick, ACT. As a Storeperson, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory management and ensuring the smooth flow of operations.
Key Responsibilities may include:

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
Goods Receipt and Dispatch: Receive incoming goods, verify their quality and quantity, and process outgoing orders efficiently.
Storage Optimisation: Organise and optimise storage space to maximise efficiency and accessibility.
Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality standards and are stored in appropriate conditions to prevent damage.
Customer Service: Assist customers in person, over the phone, or via email with inquiries, product information, and order processing. Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to ensure a positive customer experience.
Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers to coordinate activities, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to fulfill orders, coordinate deliveries, and support overall operational goals.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the mechanics industry.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management software.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
