The position will include inspections and maintenance across a wide variety of depot equipment including, but not limited to:
conveyor belts,
bearings, shafts,
fitting/replacing conveyor motors,
depot maintenance,
fabrications and retro fit upgrades.
In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:
Be Trade qualified (electrical or mechanical fitter) or 2 years Trades Assistant experience in a similar role
Document, record and track servicing and maintenance requirements
Demonstrated commitment to WHS policies, procedures and regulations
Reliable and honest with a great work ethic
Ability to work under time sensitive situations
Time management and prioritisation skills
Willingness to be trained with new equipment as the business evolves and grows
Ability to diagnose & action faults
Able to work within a team environment and unsupervised
