Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager - Heavy Vehicle Manufacturing

Exel Workforce is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a heavy vehicle manufacturer in Dandenong South.

This is a full time permanent role paying $170,000 + Super for the right candidate.

Role Requirements:

-Degree Qualified in Engineering
-Experience as an Engineering Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably Automotive
-Strong background in mechanical hydraulics and electrics.
-Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving projects to successful completion.
-Solid understanding of automotive engineering principles, including vehicle dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
-Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards for automotive engineering.
-Experience using Solid Works and Autocad
-Proficiency in assembly procedures, Bill of Materials, and detailed drawings
-Strong leadership with the ability to manage local and offshore teams effectively.
-Familiarity with lean management principles.
-Willingness to travel to China and the Philippines
