The Project Specialist is responsible for supporting the Commercial Account Executives by providing outstanding customer service to commercial customers, assisting with pricing, meeting margin targets and following orders all the way through to completion.
- Provide quality customer service by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the available range of products, setting timeframes and keeping customers informed throughout each stage of the ordering process.
- Manage customer orders from start to finish, including responding to enquiries, processing sales orders, raising purchase orders and liaising with manufacturers regarding stock and delivery timeframes.
- Liaise with Customers and Account Executives to develop and manage a delivery schedule.
- Manage multiple Customers Nationally.
- Regularly communicate with manufacturers to ensure pricing and product information is accurate and updated where necessary, as well as monitor stock levels and availability.
- Ensure the DCs are informed well in advance of any scheduled bulk deliveries due into the warehouse or out to customers.
- Provide assistance and training to more junior members of the team.
