Our client, an Australian -owned private equity business focussing on advanced engineering and construction is looking for an experienced Production Coordinator/Planner to be responsible for the technical management and control of Production. You will be part of an innovative team in the engineering and defence sectors.
This is permanent F/T position and is based in Adelaide
Your new role:
As a Production Coordinator you will:
Ensure that manufacturing Processes run reliably and efficiently
Plan and organise production schedules and implement quality control standards
Represent the company to clients and stakeholders
Implement management plans and daily control standards
Manage the workshop and Yard Storage footprint in accordance with WHS&E requirements
Manufacture in accordance with Lead 5's and KAIZAN principles
Implementation of Inspection and Test Plans ( ITP's) and keep management informed
Assist and execute Testing SetUps and packdowns
Manage Stock levels and oversee repair and maintenance of production equipment
Program and set-up the plant and manpower required to meet project outcomes
Supervise the work of staff and organise training sessions and implementation of SOPs
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
Experience in production coordination/planning in the manufacturing space ( 3-5 years)
A Project Management Diploma or equivalent
Experience in Management or supervision of other workers
Practical knowledge and experience in manufacturing capabilities, process technologies and related business information systems
Advance communication and team building skills
Ability to work under your own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost
Critical thinking-user logic and reasoning skills
Change management flexibility
As Defence security clearance or eligibility is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
