Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize production processes and meet client requirements. Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure that products meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications. Implement measures to continuously improve product quality and reliability. Manage human and material resources effectively to optimize production efficiency. Coordinate with procurement and logistics departments to ensure timely availability of materials and components. Lead and motivate production teams to achieve production targets and quality standards. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring that expenditures are within budgetary limits. Responsibilities Provide regular updates on production progress, issues, and solutions. Oversee inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize excess inventory and stockouts. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance. Prepare regular reports on production metrics, highlighting areas of improvement and achievement. Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for production operations. Coordinate with other departmental managers to communicate production updates, issues, and requirements effectively. Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' proven experience as a Production Manager in manufacturing. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement. In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in budget management and cost control. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
