We have an exciting and diverse opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our growing team on a Full-Time basis. You will be assisting individuals to recover from injury and return to work through a client-centered approach, focusing on health and well-being. You’ll be managing a portfolio of cases including Workers Compensation NSW, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) and Workplace Health & Safety Assessments. Your role is dynamic, and every day is different. Your role as an occupational rehabilitation consultant includes:
 


Activities of Daily Living Assessments to utilise your expertise to determine service, equipment and personal care needs following an injury. This can include prescription of aids, minor home modifications and provision of support services.
Play a fundamental role in case management to facilitate a return to vocational and personal occupations following a workplace injury.
Perform workplace assessments across diverse environments including factories, office spaces, construction sites, production lines and more
Ergonomic assessments to provide recommendations to ensure optimal workstation set up
Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments to determine physical capacity of individuals and providing recommendations for increasing functional tolerances
Leading Medical Case Conferences with treating parties to establish goals, discuss treatment and develop collaborative recover at work plans
Collaboration with allied health professionals to obtain treatment updates and determine ways to support injured workers.

Tertiary qualified Occupational Therapist
AHPRA Accredited Occupational Therapist
State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) knowledge highly regarded
