About the Role
We are currently seeking applications for RSU & Locomotive (Train) Drivers located in the township of Giru in the Burdekin Region, approx.. 40mins south of Townsville. This is a seasonal position within our Cane Supply & Transport team and involves continuous shift work during the crushing season with opportunities for overtime.
The RSU & Loco Drivers are members of a small rail team. They are responsible for the safe and efficient transport of empty and full cane bins from across the region to Invicta Mill.
About you
Loco or RSU Driver experience
Unrestricted Open C Class Driver's Licence
Excellent fault finding skills
You will need to possess good communication skills to provide regular/accurate feedback. This role is a high energy position and requires an enthusiastic candidate with the ability to adapt to improvement processes.
