Are you a Lead Accountant or Manger working in public practice and looking to make a move?
Randstad has partnered with a growing international professional services SME who are seeking a new Lead Accountant / Manager to look after their Australian side of the business.
You will ideally have experience working as a tax agent servicing SME clients. Exposure to using Xero and Xero Practice Manager software will be a benefit. As this is a growing company, you will actively be part of and contribute to business growth as well as having the opportunity to experience career / professional development.
This role is 100% remote / working from home and you will partner with the business and clients via phone and video. The role is a full time permanent opportunity and offers a salary up to $140,000 + super.
Key responsibilities:
Grow relationships with new and existing clients and provide outstanding and consistent support and advice.
Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and other statutory lodgements of businesses and their associated individuals.
Providing general accounting, taxation and business advice to small business clients, including structuring and tax minimisation
Manage workflow of allocated clients and ensure turnaround time
Manage and grow the Australian team by providing coaching and support.
Desired skills and experience:
Preferably be a current tax agent
CA / CPA qualification
Multiple years of experience voting within public practice
XERO or XPM exposure is preferred
Ability to manage the end to end accounting process
Ability to work well to deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within remote working environment
