Your new role
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting boilermakers and tyre fitters
- Performing repairs on heavy earthmoving tyres
- Thoroughly cleaning, blasting, and painting tyres in preparation for additional testing
- Using plasma cutting to remove damaged sections from the wheel, which will then be machined
- Machining wheels and new parts to the required size for assembly
- Tack welding new components in place for final welding
