Are you a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse? Opportunity to join the team at Campbelltown Private Day Surgery Unit. Apply now! Campbelltown Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Team on a full time and casual basis. You will play a key role within a caring and supportive team in ensuring high levels of pre and post- operative care patient care is provided. Campbelltown Private Hospital is a purpose built private hospital located in Park Central, the ever-growing medical hub of Campbelltown. Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 48 Surgical beds, 15 bed Day Surgery Unit and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit. We offer excellent employee conditions with extensive support, professional development and future leadership opportunities. As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery

Essential Criteria:

Authority to Work in Australia
Working with Children check (if relevant)
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience across Day surgery, Admissions, Procedure Rooms, Recovery and Discharge
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
Flexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required.
