Protech is recruiting a Leading Hand on new projects in Yatala and Ripley. These will be major long term civil projects on subdivision and roadworks sites.
As a leading hand, you will be responsible for assisting labourers, training, and delegating works. Additionally, you will help ensure that a safe site is maintained throughout, and communicating to other supervisors and foreman about progress or challenges.
Responsibilities Directing and leading labourers on site Monitor compliance with safety and environmental requirements Reading and interpreting plans Communicating effectively with team on priorities daily Maintain daily record of site activities Collaborate with Foreman, Project Manager, and Engineers on progress, priorities, and challenges
Skills and Qualifications Valid open drivers licence Proven track record of strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Plant machinery tickets will be highly regarded Experience working on major civil projects
