About Us:
We love nothing more than seeing our participants achieve their goals, we live and breathe capacity building and hope to empower participants by:
- Using a strengths-based approach to guide our assessment, goals and ultimately our intervention,
- We use a combination of standardised and non-standardised assessment, curated to the participants needs to guide our clinical reasoning,
- Delivering much needed Speech Therapy interventions to participants within the setting best matched to their goals, that could be at school, at home, work or in the community, or in our clinic space*.
- Collaborating with our local multi-disciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Key Workers, and Behaviour Support Practitioners.
We have a diverse OT team based in our region which is comprised of Southern Sydney to the Illawarra, who each have unique caseloads tailored to their own interests and passions. We currently have clinical caseloads covering areas such as early intervention (including infants 0-12 months and feeding), paediatrics, adults, dysphagia/swallowing, AAC and psychosocial disabilities.
On a personal level, we are a dynamic bunch of clinicians who exude a passion for disability. We want to see the best in each other, just as we do our participants. We have been known to go on long beach walks, test out our new technology or having a wine at a paint and sip, or the local pub. Babies, (and fur babies) are always welcome in the office and are part of the team. Whether you are keen on coming out and spending time as a team, or your family life and home is your priority – there is a place for everyone!
