The Council Governance and Policy Officer supports the Council Governance function to enhance the formal decision-making process of the City, from coordination of the local government's elections and supporting processes to the development of procedures to ensure business continuation.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Governance and Risk, the Governance Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support across Council and Committees, including concept forums and related processes.

Key responsibilities:

Attendance at Council, Committee, and other relevant meetings to provide administrative support and coordination, including minute taking.
Coordinate the preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes for meetings.
