Role Purpose
Financial Accountant is responsible for partnering with key finance executives and senior stakeholders in
delivering timely and accurate monthly and statutory reporting and assisting in audit. This role is critical in
ensuring compliance with tax and statutory reporting deadline.

Key Accountabilities
• Accuracy and timelines of monthly reporting deadline.
• Preparation of month end and consolidation journals
• Review and delivering accurate General Ledger reconciliations.
• Preparation and analytics of monthly and statutory financial reports according to the relevant
accounting standard.
• Assisting with audit process, liaising with external and internal auditors to provide required information
on various audits.
• Assisting and preparation of various tax lodgements and statutory compliance to ensure accurate
external regulatory reporting.
• Cashflow reporting and forecast, overseeing banking process.
• Management of FX Revaluations and Intercompany transactions.
• Problem solving as and when required on accounting issues.
• Partnering with the wider internal finance team to ensure accuracy of information and transparent
communication between teams as well as supporting Operations personnel in NRI’s Finance
processes.
• Identify and provide insights to improve accounting processes in their efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assisting with various accounting projects as and when required.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis reports to various stakeholders.
• Management of Revenue and Cost processing, along with debtor management.
• Management of inventory valuations and optimal stock balances.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Ability to analyse and communicate effectively financial information including exposure to financial
statement preparation and external auditors.
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting such as accounting standards, practices and concepts.
• Effective relationship management skills and demonstrated ability build effective relationships with
non-financial stakeholder.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an inquisitive mindset to critically evaluate
accounting and compliance issues.
• High level of ERP system and advanced Excel proficiency is required.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to reporting deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• CPA/CA qualified with a relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent
