As a Trainee Poly Welder, you will be trained to weld poly-ethylene fittings and other components onto poly-ethylene products such as liquid storage tanks, to complete the overall product for delivery to the client.
Responsibilities include:
Weld poly-ethylene fittings or other components into poly-ethylene products in accordance with drawings supplied.
Construct poly-ethylene products from varying pipe and HDPE sheets in accordance with drawings supplied.
Monitor stocks of components and request purchase of items required
Initiate action to prevent occurrence of deficiencies in work performed in the factory
Identify and record deficiencies occurring in the factory
Initiate or recommend solutions to deficiencies through authorised methods
Observe and maintain a high level of safety at all time
Required Skills / Experience / Qualifications
Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, however full training will be provided
