About the Branch
The role of the Carbon Markets Branch is to provide insights, solutions and advice to decision makers, policy makers and the market to improve scheme operations and position the agency as a modern, efficient and effective regulator. The branch:
Provides advice, support and action on complex scheme implementation and design issues.
Coordinates and drives policy development and change.
Supports the agency to create a data-driven culture that identifies external trends to inform strategic decisions and supports business transformation.
Increases confidence in the carbon and renewable energy markets by highlighting the role of our schemes and understanding the international context.
