Supervisor - Structures
Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking a Structural Supervisor to join our project-based civil engineering team and work primarily on large civil infrastructure projects across QLD.
What you'll do:
Managing a work section by leading and coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors on a detailed daily and weekly program to deliver on time and budget, while upholding a high-quality standard
Oversee the planning and execution of structural construction activities, including formwork, rebar placement, concrete pouring, and steel erection.
Monitoring the use of resources against budget and actual performance to meet the productivity needs.
Participating in project meetings and Effectively communicating project and company information in a clear and concise manner with Clients and Government Authorities.
Conducting and participating in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions and other health and safety requirements) as well as Attending all investigations of accidents and incidents within the area of responsibility
Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
Driving work teams' productivity and implementation of improvements and/or changes to improve productivity throughout the project(s).
What you're good at:
Extensive experience in supervising multi-disciplined work teams in the construction industry across bridges, structures, and civil infrastructure projects.
Experience and a good understanding of working in a brownfield rail environment in Queensland is highly desirable.
Demonstrate a good understanding of environmental compliance.
Demonstrating a high safety performance standard on-site, aligning with legislation and site standards.
Excellent communication and management skills with the ability to implement improvements in productivity and drive project outcomes.
Excellent client and subcontractor stakeholder management skills; through the development and maintenance of effective relationships, clear obligations in the program and coordination of field activities to meet project outcomes.
