The Opportunity:
Port of Newcastle is seeking a Planning & Compliance Advisor to join our Property, Environment and Planning team. This new and highly visible role is responsible for leading PONs planning and environmental compliance obligations. The role will form part of a highly capable yet small and close knit team and work in a well supported environment to deliver a set of diverse and rewarding objectives. In addition, the role will lead and support strategic programs on behalf of the Senior Manager Property, Environment & Planning and be the key point of contact for PONs partners and Government and Port User stakeholders.
What you will bring:
To be successful in this role, you will have completed a Bachelor of Laws (specialisation in Planning & Environmental Law is advantageous) as well as being experienced in working with contaminated land, advising on NSW
